This saturday, 16th June was the Super Saturday sale by Vero Moda. With a huge success in Mumbai they decided to extend it to Bangalore too. Since I missed it in Mumbai, I had my heart set on going for this one. I just wanted to experience a super sale, see whats it like to be in that rush.
I thought I would get up by 8 am and head for it as currently I am staying about an hour away from Indira Nagar. But the lazy saturday had me get going only at 12. When I reached, I realised, it was better I reached late. As per my friends who were there since 10am, the line and the crowd was super huge and was a crazy scene in the morning since 8.
So, after waiting in the queue for about 15mins I finally entered my 1st ever super sale. Loved teh feeling and excitement building up, till the moment I started rummaging through the piles. What a bummer ! They had few limited designs in all the sized and the good ones, as usual did not have smaller sizes. I found the sale to be below average. But. for the prize what can you expect. Even though entering wasnt a task, the trial room wait was killer. The lines were many and long with more than half hour wait. I still ended up buying a dress and 2 tops because of the shopaholic in me. Billing line was a breeze for me and I got out smooth.
A flat 60% off on a bill of 4k sure felt good to look at.
Oh, they were giving out mini bottles of water outside for the wait. That was sweet ! Smart thing was the vero moda branding on the mini bottles.
At the time I went, it was a well managed event. Collection could have been better. I think I am going to go for the Mango mega sale next. I love the thrill ! Though in the end you end up buying things you dont really need. Aaahhh well - Girls will be girls ;)
PS - The boys line was triple that of girls. Does that say something ?
